1.1 Log files
We need to collect and store certain information to enable you to access our website. When you visit our website, our Internet server automatically records the domain name or IP address of the requesting computer as well as the date of access, the client’s file request (file name and URL), the HTTP response code, the website from which you are visiting us and the number of bytes transferred during the connection (so-called log files). This data is deleted as soon as you end your visit to our website. We store your IP address for a period of seven days for the purposes provided for by law – in particular the detection of misuse and the detection and elimination of technical faults.
1.2 Website analysis with Google Analytics
Our website uses Google Analytics, an analytics service provided by Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA (“Google”). Google Analytics uses cookies that are stored on your computer and enable an analysis of your use of the website. The information generated by the cookie regarding your use of this app is generally transmitted to a Google server in the United States and stored there. For our website, Google Analytics has been configured so that your IP address is recorded in anonymized form (so-called “IP masking”). As a result, your IP address is truncated by Google within member states of the European Union or in other signatory states to the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases is the full IP address transmitted to a Google server in the United States and truncated there. 2. handling of data when using website functionalities
We may offer you further functionalities on this website now or in the future for which personal data or other information must be collected, e.g. if you send us questions or feedback via a contact form or register for a newsletter. Mandatory information is marked as such in these cases.

All personal data is stored only for as long as necessary for the stated purpose (processing your inquiry or fulfilling a contract). Based on the average project duration, we assume a retention period of 2 years. Taking into account retention periods under tax and commercial law, the retention period may be extended to up to 10 years.
4th Newsletter
When you register to receive our newsletter, the data you provide will be used exclusively for this purpose. Subscribers can also be informed by e-mail about circumstances that are relevant to the service or registration (for example, changes to the newsletter offer or technical circumstances).
For registration to be valid, we require at least one valid email address. To verify that the registration is actually being performed by the owner of the email address, we use the “double opt-in” process. To this end, we log the newsletter subscription request, the sending of a confirmation email, and the receipt of the response requested therein. The data is used exclusively for sending the newsletter and is not shared with third parties.

6. embedded YouTube videos
We embed YouTube videos on some of our web pages. The operator of the corresponding plugins is YouTube, LLC, 901 Cherry Ave., San Bruno, CA 94066, USA. When you visit a page with the YouTube plugin, a connection is established to YouTube’s servers. In the process, YouTube is informed of which pages you visit. If you are logged into your YouTube account, YouTube can associate your browsing activity with you personally. You can prevent this by logging out of your YouTube account beforehand.
When a YouTube video is started, the provider uses cookies that collect information about user behavior.
If you have disabled the storage of cookies for the Google Ads program, you will not encounter such cookies even when watching YouTube videos. However, YouTube also stores non-personal usage information in other cookies. If you wish to prevent this, you must block the storage of cookies in your browser.
