
Individual room control with the VL-700 BASE
The VL-700 BASE IoT Edge controller, together with the preinstalled ECS (EnOcean Control Center) software, also serves as a local single-room control system for up to 16 rooms. Actuators, temperature sensors, window contacts, and local setpoint adjusters can be easily assigned to a room. In addition, different setpoints can be configured for time-dependent room temperatures.

All data at a glance
All data for a total of up to 500 actuators, sensors, and room control units is available at any time for commissioning and service. Signal strength of the received telegrams, associated device profile (EEP), EnOcean ID / EURID, raw data, and telegram counter.


The radiator valve in detail
For diagnostics, the user interface provides you with all available detailed information about the radiator valve. This includes the energy status, the last reported opening degree of the valve, the measured flow temperature and the assigned room.
Setup Slot 1-500
The actuators and sensors are set up manually for testing purposes or, when there are a large number of actuators/sensors in the project, preferably via file transfer using FTP/SFTP. This includes the EnOcean ID/EURID, the device profile/EEP, the “Friendly Name” as part of the JSON string for transmission via MQTT, and the assigned room (1–16). Additional information available here includes the timestamp of the most recently received telegram and the data received with it. To send data to actuators, the assigned EnoDisc® or Aruba access point is also entered here. Additionally, the EnOcean ID under which the slot transmits is configured.


Full scalability thanks to MODBUS TCP
All relevant parameters and status data of up to 16 rooms are available via MODBUS TCP to a building automation system or a central operating device for read/write access. The system is therefore fully scalable and offers the option of flexible integration and system expansion in addition to stand-alone functionality. Further interfaces are currently being implemented (BACnet / KNX).
