When it comes to measuring air quality, the primary focus is usually on the CO2 concentration in the ambient air. Along with other parameters, such as particulate matter, CO2 directly affects the well-being of your team members.
The EnoSense® CO2 allows you to transmit current CO2, humidity, and temperature readings every 5 minutes —either powered solely by the built-in solar cell, or supplemented by or powered exclusively by the internal batteries. This means the sensor can be used at any time and in any room (even in windowless rooms, such as quiet study areas).
The sensor is easily mounted on the wall using the included bracket. Always ensure there is a minimum distance from doors, windows, and seating areas in the room (where exhaled air would otherwise be measured directly).
We would be happy to measure additional parameters such as PM and VOC and provide the data. However, the power consumption of the associated measurement equipment is currently too high to offer a practical solution without an external power supply.
An EnoDisc® within range captures the data and forwards it via Ethernet to the VL-700 BASE. Depending on the configuration there (up to 500 sensors are supported), the VL-700 BASE then sends the data in JSON format to the MQTT broker of your choice. Using this approach, we have already made several hundred buildings significantly more efficient in terms of usage and cost-effectiveness.
